Episode 1:
Bre Whitehair
Co. Ceramic Artist

n this pilot episode, we meet Bre—your local Colorado pot dealer (ceramic artist, of course).

She brings a whole lot of creativity, color, and fun to the screen.

Why We Made It

I’ve bounced back and forth making artist films for years, but always knew I wanted to turn it into something more. I kept returning to this episode with Bre — now our pilot for a new series of feel-good, inspirational mini-docs about people who truly love what they do and have fun doing it. Bre embodied that spirit perfectly, so it only felt right to make her’s our pilot episode.

Filming Notes

We shot everything in just a couple of hours, so we couldn’t follow a single piece from start to finish—but Bre came prepared. She had pieces ready at each stage of the process, which made filming smooth and efficient. We grabbed some ambient sounds after the shoot, which added a fun, textural layer in post.

Favorite Moments

Getting a peek into Bre’s studio was such a highlight—especially seeing the creative chaos and passion that fills the space.

Since she shares her kiln, artists were wandered in and out, making it feel like a little collaborative hub where ideas were being shared.

Also Bre is fantastic and funny and so much fun to interview!

Bre reminded us that storytelling doesn’t just live in words or film—it can live in clay.
This episode inspired me to start up this series again. I hope it sets the tone for what Made becomes: a space for people whose work isn’t just creative
—it’s full of joy, meaning, and a whole lot of personality.
